Kearse and Vrcelj finished the season in Denmark

Mychal KearseMychal Kearse finished the season 2008-09 with SISU CPH in the Danish Canal Digital Ligaen averaging 21.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.9 PFON, 2.7 steals and 1.8 assists per game in 29.8 minutes per game on the court. He finished the regular season as the third scorer with 21.7 PPG, seventh rebounder with 8.3 RPG, fifth in steals with 2.7 SPG, while he is also sixth in the number of fouls drawn per game. Kearse led the league in the number of mid-range shots made per game.

Although Kearse signed a two-year deal with the SISU CPH at the beginning of the 2008-08 season his contract included a clause according to which he could leave the team under certain conditions. At the same time, 6-11 (210 cm) center, Ljubiša Vrcelj who also played with Kearse for SISU CPH is currently a free agent. In 19 games Vrcelj averaged 4.9 points, 3.4 rebounds per game in 14.7 minutes per game on the court.

 
The Cyprus Women's National Team coach joins SPSM

Antonis ConstantinidesThe Cyprus Women’s National Team head coach Antonis Constantinides joined Set Play Sports Management and he will be represented by our sports management group only outside Cyprus.

Antonis started his coaching career in 2002 as the head coach of the Omonoia Nicosia U18 boys’ team with which he won the national title in 2003 as well as the national cup trophy in 2004. At the beginning of the season 2004-05 Antonis takes over the men’s team of the same club where he stays for two seasons being forced to withdraw in 2006-07 due to personal reasons. In 2007 he returns to coaching with Philips College in the second division and in 2008 he is appointed as the head coach of the women’s national team which he will lead at the 2009 XIII Games of the Small States of Europe. Midway the same season he accepted to take over Intercollege/ETHA in the country’s top flight and he managed to reach the playoffs. He then signed with the Engomi team for the upcoming 2009-2010 season.
